Investigating why your fertility is not where you want it to be takes a multi-angled approach.
One really helpful tool is BBT (Basal Body Temperature) charting.
A menstrual cycle is not just x days long, with x days of bleeding at a certain flow. Fertility can be impacted by temperatures being too high or too low, no ovulation or ovulating too early or too late, for example. These things can be picked up by BBT. By charting your temperature daily, we can gain great insight into what aspects of your cycle might need assistance in helping to improve your fertility.
How do you do it?
Take your temperature orally first thing every morning, at the same time, before you even sit up in bed.
Ideally, you’ve had a good 4 hours of unbroken sleep before.
Note down the temperature, either in an app such as Fertility Friend or you can download physical charts from the internet.
Women generally find it fascinating to track their cycles, and see changes as their treatments progress.
